    I don’t think I’ve heard characters actually ever WINNING against the cult in a Cthulhu game. This was…wow.

  2. I had a lot of fun with this fight. You might have already noticed that during character generation they got more hit points than normal (CON + 1/3 SIZ instead of average of CON and SIZ) as well as much better stats. I want them to be able to survive physical fights more easily. Of course, even 21 hit points can disappear just like *that*, and although they might start with a higer average SAN, it still gets lost at the same rate.

    And of course, (the way I played) Mukunga is small potatoes compared to what’s coming….

  5. Yeah, this was a great episode!!! My favorite line was, “I don’t look into the hole.” That is just classic CoC paranoia at its best! 🙂
